This is by far my most favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in the Richmond area. The fajitas are to die for, and the rest of the menu is not bad at all. I am a big fan of the top shelf margaritas. Love the atmosphere and service we receive. I've never had a complaint. This is an awesome place to meet up for after work drinks and some appetizers to catch up with each other and have a few laughs. Highly recommend.

We had dinner at Red River Cantina Tex-Mex and Calvin made the whole experience outstanding. His service was the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time. He paid attention without hovering, kept everything moving at the right pace, and treated us like he genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. A few things stood out: • He anticipated what we needed before we asked. • He kept a full section running smoothly and still made time to check in with us. • He offered helpful suggestions without being pushy. • He made the whole meal feel relaxed and welcoming. The food was great, but Calvin is the reason we will be back. Red River Tex-Mex is lucky to have someone who brings that level of care and professionalism to the table. If you go, ask for him.

First time here and upon walking in it was warming atmosphere clean and the greeter was very welcoming. Getting seated was good but the server was kinda nonchalant. We received chips and they were fresh and the salsa was as well. We ordered our food and it was fresh and hot! Everything was good and we enjoyed someone birthday which was a great setting to enjoy. The price for the food was great as well and affordable. We definitely will return again.

Visited here yesterday for the first time. The hosts at the door were friendly and sat us immediately. Christian was our server and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the menu and provided us suggestions. He was very attentive and came by our table multiple times to make sure we were good. I had the pollo marisco and my husband had the build your combination platter.. we were both pleasantly surprised. The food and service was great.. we will definitely return.

Excellent service! Our server Jesus truly made our experience amazing. He was very caring, attentive to every detail, and always concerned about our needs and wants. He consistently gave the best recommendations for both food and drinks, and every suggestion was spot on. His professionalism and kindness stood out and made our visit unforgettable. I would absolutely request him as my server the next time I go.

Last Friday the 16th of January we and a couple of our friends ate at the Richmond restaurant. I had the shrimp enchiladas and it was great. The beer was cold and our server Caroline was very friendly and personable. She did an exceptional job taking care of us. This has become our favorite place to eat.

I went to Red River Cantina in Richmond for lunch earlier today, and once again it reminded me why it's one of my favorite restaurants. The food was excellent as always—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazing, making it a perfect lunch spot. I also want to give a special shoutout to my server, Jesus. He was really great—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. His service was spot-on without being overbearing, and he genuinely made us feel welcome. Between the consistently great food, relaxed lunch vibe, and standout service, Red River Cantina never disappoints. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Richmond.

Nessa was really nice. Her service is immaculate. Very sweet, patient, and made us feel at home. 100/10 really good food as well. 100% recommend to come here because I know I will be coming back for sure :)

The food and service was amazing. We had the steak fajitas. We could not stop eating. Nessa our server was friendly and provided great customer service. She was at our table to take our order as soon as we were seated. Food came so quick.

Waiter Christian was amazing! Excellent service. Restaurant has a great vibe with fun decor. Fajitas, chips, and food was very good. Not spicy at all if that's your thing. Sadly rice was under cooked. This could be easily improved. But overall was a great date night spot!
